		IRSD was instituted 1993. Its members include professional from all walks of life. It started its work in a small rental premises rendering counsellings services to the families of mentally retarded, deaf and other disabled.
		The founder cum executive secretary P. Ramanjaneyulu has been trained in the sociology discipline and gold medalist in his P.G. under his rich experience to day IRSD is providing many services to the poor and needy.
		Our aims and objectives are to establish a comprehensive community health, family welfare and nutrition and other developmental programmes both in the urban and rural. To educate, train and impart vocational training to the mentally handicapped, physically disabled and deaf. To provide home based service to the mentally ill patients. To create public awareness about the implications of deafness, mental retardation and physical disability in children and adults. To provide low vision center services for all people. To encourage research activities for finding drugs etc. To prevent mental retardation or to minimize or to cure those who are already retarded.
